Please click here to read: Here is a protocol I use for those who have been biten by a tick, or suspect they have contracted a lyme or other co-infection bacteria (babesia, erlichia, bartonella, rocky mountain spotted fever, etc). You can use the products in combination (recommended) or one at a time. Use for 30 days. If at any time your tick bite area worsens, or is not improving after 7-10 days, it may be recommomneded to start a perscription of Piperacillin. In that case, you will also want to use a good diverse Probiotic listed below to combat the effects of an antibiotic. Additionally, I recommend using colloidal silver topically, which you can also mix with coconut oil, or essential oils. Several essential oils can help soothe and potentially deter ticks or treat tick bites. Essential oils like peppermint, tea tree, lavender, eucalyptus, and citronella are often recommended for their calming and anti-inflammatory properties. Some studies suggest o regano, cinnamon, clove, and rosemary  essential oils can also repel ticks or kill bacteria associated with tick-borne diseases.

Here are some products to help with high histamine that can cause sinus issues, headaches, reproductive issues, and joint pain. Histamine is contained in mast cells and is important for waking, ovulation, menstruation, labor, sperm production, and for making breastmilk. It's also important for inflammation needed to recover from an illness or injury. We need histamine when we need it, but we need it in an good balance. Too much of a good thing, can be a bad thing. Many foods can cause a histamine reaction. Some foods do this when they are not completely digested. These foods are gluten containing foods (wheat, rye, barley, and carrageanan to name a few), dairy products (butter is usually the exception), and soy products. We can either eliminate these foods for our dietary intake, or we can aid inctheor digestion and breakdown using a digestive enzyme. Digrstzymes contains enzymes that help this process as one starts to introduce and eliminate/reduce histamine foods. It can take 6 month of complete elimination to heal the gut wall and it can take a few week on the enzymes to notice changes. D-Hist - while antihistamine drugs ly zyrtec and Claritin block histamine receptors, d-hist helps to stabilize mast cells that release histamine. You can use both st the same time. The problem with using an antihistamine drug only is that once the medication wears off - the histamine floating around the body can still bind to the receptor. This means that one has to keep taking the drug all the time. By adding d-hist we reduce the histamine floating around in the body, so when medications wears off - there's no histamine to bind the receptor. Histamine help us wake up in the morong. This is why some people may wake up with headaches, runny noses are common in the morning and wesr off throughout the day, and why taking an antihistamine drug at night might be better for a person's sleep, and also to help with morning headaches/runny nose. Probiota HistaminX - this contains microbes that help prevent inflammation triggering mast cells to release histamine. These microbes product anti-inflammatory chemicals that calm inflammation in the gut and help us digest foods. These microbes can be damaged through the use of antibiotics, NSAIDs, and other medications, as well as some preservatives in foods, artificial sugars, heavy metals, and lack of dietary fiber as a food source. Histamine Digest: histamine is broken down by Diamine Oxidase (DAO) enzyme. This enzyme is made by your intestinal cells. Some people make very little DAO. This product help to break down histamine more efficiently so it isn't lingering in the body causing problems. What To Eat and Avoid on a Low-Histamine Diet Eating a diet rich in whole, non-processed foods will be important. Foods that are very ripe, aged, fermented, or soured should also be avoided. Certain fruits and vegetables can induce a histamine response, too. Foods to Eat Fresh fruit: Apples, pomegranates, grapes, cherries, pears, plums, peaches (any fruit except citrus fruits, strawberries, avocado) Fresh vegetables: Arugula, artichokes, broccoli, carrots, onions, peppers, cucumbers, spaghetti squash, etc. (any vegetables except those on the do not eat list) Fresh herbs: Basil, parsley, oregano, rosemary, cilantro, thyme, turmeric Gluten-free grains: Quinoa, brown rice Dried legumes: Chickpeas, black beans, kidney beans Starchy vegetables: Sweet potato, yam, butternut squash, winter squash Fresh meat and fish: Chicken, turkey, salmon, lean ground beef, lamb Carob (an alternative to chocolate) Nut based milk: Almond, cashew, hemp Hemp, flax, chia seeds Olive oil, coconut oil Egg yolks Foods to Avoid Aged cheeses: Parmesan, cheddar, Gouda, Camembert, Swiss Fermented foods and beverages: Sauerkraut, pickles, pickled vegetables, kefir, kombucha Yogurt, sour cream, and buttermilk Processed meats: Cold cuts, bacon, sausage, salami, ham, chorizo, pepperoni Alcoholic beverages Egg whites Tea Soy Peanuts Frozen and smoked fish Shellfish: Clams, mussels, shrimp Canned fish: Salmon and tuna Certain vegetables: Spinach, tomatoes, eggplant Certain fruits: Strawberries, cherries, citrus fruits (papaya, orange, lemon, pineapple) Spices and condiments: Ketchup, chili powder, cinnamon, cloves, vinegar Packaged and processed foods: Snacks, ready-made grains, cookies, sweets Food additives, preservatives, and food coloring Licorice and chocolate Yeast

Here are our recommendations for supplementation while pregnant and nursing. These will help with development, delivery, and with the health of baby! As a practice member, you enjoy 20% off the retail price of these products in our store, as well as free shipping on orders of $50 or more. 1. Prenatal - Listed here are two of our favorite prenatals. We recommend using supplements containing methylcobalamine (instead of cyanocobalamine), and methylated folate such as methylfolate, metafolin, or folinic acid. Prenatals are recommended for support throughout pregnancy and while breastfeeding to ensure adequate amounts to vitamins in breastmilk. CHOOSE 1: Smartypants gummy or Thorne Basic Prenatal 2. Taking a probiotic or eating probiotic foods daily help with digestive health, prevents GBS, and prevents bacterial vaginosis that can cause complications in pregnancy CHOOSE 1: Orthobiotic or Klair Chewable Probiotic 3. Omega 3 fatty acids help with inflammation and discomfort as well as aids in nervous system development of the baby. You can add fish and other seafood to your diet (as long as not allergic) 2-3 times a week to improve omega 3 levels. Please check out the Immune Foundations Handbook page 7 (page nine on digital) for a recommended list of fish and good fats. We love Carlson Labs Cod Liver Oil with Vitamin D and A. It is also available in Orange flavor (you may search the online store for other flavors of Cod Liver Oil by Carlson Labs). If unable to take a liquid, capsules are available as Orthomega. CHOOSE 1: Carlson Labs Cod Liver Oil or Protocol for Life Balance Ultra Omega D 4. Vitamin D is essential for bone health, respiratory health, GI health, and also reproductive health. We recommend having these levels tested to know you optimal levels for yourself, and breastmilk production. Optimal ranges for Vitamin D are above 60ng/mL, not exceeding 90 ng/mL. Taking 50,000 IU weekly provides enough vitamin D for baby through human milk. Take 1 capsule weekly for optimal levels for you and for baby. 5. In the event of constipation, we recommend Magnesium Citrate as found in Natural Calm. This comes in several different flavors, and you can also search our online store for other flavors like lemon, raspberry, and orange. Other ways to relieve constipation is to use George's aloe (available at Fresh Thyme), Vitamin C, warmed prune juice, and chia seeds. CHOOSE 1: There are several flavor of Natural Calm - pick one that you like best! 6. To help with acid reflux or heartburn associated with pregnancy, many find relief with Papaya enzymes. This is a great first step to help resolve digestive issues. In the event this doesn't help, we may recommend a more broad spectrum digestive enzyme.

Some parents need alternatives for infant formulas beyond that which is available retail or commercially. While European brands may be an option, a person may not have the time to wait for shipping and may need alternatives in the meantime. Follow this link for a few homemade recipes from Weston Price, as well as answers to questions about homemade formulas, safety, and use. https://www.westonaprice.org/health-topics/childrens-health/formula-homemade-baby-formula/ You can also use the homemade formula option attached below. Ingredient recommendations for homemade formulas are listed below. In addition to a homemade formula, depending on the use of raw or pasteurized milk, here are some recommendations to help with components missing from some homemade or commercial formulas. Important to note - these should be added to bottles prior to feeding, and not stored for later feedings. They may remain stable in formula for 4 hours if refrigerated. 1. Enzymes. Raw milk and unpasteurized human milk contains enzymes to help baby break down larger nutrients like proteins, fats, and carbohydrates. Baby's made some enzymes in their saliva - salivary amylase and lipase. If your formula is a commercial brand, or made with pasteurized products, you can re-introduce enzymes using 1 capsule/feeding of the product below. 2. Probiotics. Just as with enzymes, raw milk and unpasteurized human milk contains probiotics. These help educate the GI tract, provide nutrients, help with motility, and break down fibrous foods that we don't make enzymes for. If your formula is a commercial brand, or made with pasteurized products, you can re-introduce enzymes using a pinch of probiotics from the product below. Depending on your child's age, you'll want to adjust the amount they get. You can start with a pinch and increase the amount as they grow based on the dosing below. 3. Immunoglobulins. Immunoglobulins are immune proteins that protect our bodies from pathogens and potential invaders. A nursing parent's milk will change depending on the needs of the nursing child through contact with saliva. When the infant is ill, the parents body will add more immunoglobulins to the human milk to help the child's immune system through the illness. Using immunoglobulins in formulas, commercial or homemade) can help protect them from illnesses or immune complications. 4. Fiber. Specifically Arabinogalactan fiber has been shown to be associated with not only a healthy gastrointestinal tract and immune system, having these kinds of fibers also help maintain microbial populations and is "food" for them, helps us bind metabolic waste to be removed through our stool, and helps move non-desirable pathogens out of the body like viruses, parasites, flukes, and worms, and also helps bind environmental toxins like mold and heavy metals. We like to use Biotagen that has a good mix of soluble fiber and in-soluble fiber for a happy, healthy gut. If you have questions about these recommendations or care for your infant, please get in touch to schedule an appointment to address your specific needs. Hey there. I’m glad we could connect and put together a treatment plan for you with metabolic support and you start to exercise more. Please follow the instructions I’ve added and reach out if you have any questions. Free shipping is available to order over $50, returns can be made within 30 days, and as a patient of Dr. Toler's you also get a discount off of products here. Please let us know if you have any questions about anything. I also added a booklet for you to download that goes over how to maintain your health and immune system. Some things like Probiotics, Omega 3 fatty acids, and Fiber can be improved via foods you eat. The downloaded guide will help you learn how to improve these or we can supplement what is lacking and gradually add these benefit through diet. 1. Multivitamin Support - since many of our fruits and vegetables come from far away, the nutrients may be less available or exhausted by the time they reach us. A good multivitamin support helps give the body recourse to function, and these recommendations below have vitamins available in a form that your body can use most efficiently. 2. Probiotics - because of medications, preservatives, antibiotics, etc, our gut bacteria may struggle with beneficial strains. Eating fermented foods, or taking a good quality probiotic can help restore and maintain these populations. 3. Globally people are deficient in vitamin D due to toxin exposures like glyphosate and teflon. Supplementing Vitamin D can help with bone development, teeth growth, immune system function, gut health, and even mental wellbeing. 4. Good sources of anti-inflammatory Omega 3 fatty acids can be difficult in the midwest. Eating wild caught fish can be helpful in improving Omega 3 fatty acids in the body, or taking a supplement can help. See the attachment for a list of good sources of fats and omega fatty acids. 5. Beneficial fiber feeds our gut bacteria, binds metabolic waste in the gut, helps with gut motility, and can help feed intestinal cells. We can increase fiber though supplementation or with foods listed here. https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/22-high-fiber-foods
