6 more items in Bone, Joint & Muscle HealthMaintaining muscle and bone health requires more than calcium. Adequate protein, resistance and weight-bearing exercise, vitamin D sufficiency, and appropriate screening and treatment for osteoporosis are important components of healthy aging. *Supplemental calcium is not automatically necessary. Your goal is adequate total calcium intake from food plus supplements , rather than adding a high-dose calcium supplement regardless of dietary intake.

You do not need every supplement listed; recommendations should be individualized.
GLP-1 Constipation Support

Constipation can occur during GLP-1 treatment, particularly as food and fluid intake decrease. The goal is to prevent and treat constipation while avoiding excessive supplementation that can worsen bloating or gastrointestinal discomfort. Start with the first steps below and advance only as needed. Step 1 — Foundations Maintain adequate fluid intake throughout the day. Include fiber-containing foods regularly and increase fiber gradually rather than making a sudden large increase. Regular walking and physical activity can also support bowel function. Step 2 — Fiber supplement Psyllium Husk Powder / preferred fiber Start with a low dose once daily and increase gradually as tolerated. Always take with adequate water. If you are already significantly constipated or have abdominal distention, discuss adding fiber with your clinician before substantially increasing your intake. Step 3 — Magnesium Magnesium citrate — product TBD Use as directed when additional constipation support is needed. Dose can be adjusted based on bowel response. Contact Ideal Health MD for persistent or worsening constipation, significant abdominal pain/distention, repeated vomiting, inability to tolerate fluids, blood in the stool, or inability to pass stool or gas.
GLP-1 Nutrition & Muscle Preservation

3 more items in GLP-1 Nutrition & Muscle PreservationGLP-1 medications can significantly reduce appetite and food intake. While this can support weight loss, eating too little protein and not performing resistance exercise can contribute to loss of lean muscle along with body fat. The goal is not simply to eat as little as possible. This protocol is designed to help support adequate nutrition, hydration, protein intake, and preservation of muscle during treatment.
