Use this protocol at first signs of a cold or flu and take for 7 days. Colds and flus respond best with immediate treatment. They don't respond as well if you start this protocol 3 or more days into the illness. This protocol is for adults, not children. Always consult your doctor first if you have any health concerns. Vitamin C to bowel tolerance, 2000 -16,000mg per day (2,000 every 2-4 hours) for 7 days Vitamin D 5,000 IU with food Vitamin A 10,000 IU per day for 7 days with food, do not take if pregnant Zinc 25mg 2 times per day for 7 days with food (can cause nausea) Quercetin 500mg 2 times per day for 7 days NAC 600mg 2 times per day for 7 days An alternative to the above protocol is Wellness Formula for 7 days. Follow the dosing instructions on the label. In addition to the above protocol, use these tips: 1. For sore throat: Throat Coat Tea Salt water gargle Throat Coat lozenges 2. For mucus Neti pot 2 times per day (Baraka sinus salts in the neti pot, optional) Mucinex 2 times per day, or NAC 600mg 2 times per day (this thins the mucus so it doesn’t turn into a sinus infection or pneumonia), take with lots of water Hydration Steam inhalation with eucalyptus oil 3.
