Metastatic cancer affected my bones, and my medications changed what my body needs. Calcium: my bone medication pulls calcium from my blood, and low calcium causes cramping. D3 + K2: helps my body absorb and use calcium (and most of us in the Northeast run low on D). Magnesium & Potassium: key electrolytes that help keep cramping away. B Vitamins (Homocysteine Resist): B2, B6, folate, and B12. Some medications, like diuretics, flush out B vitamins. Electrolyte Drink Powders: an easy way to replace the fluids and electrolytes my diuretic flushes out, especially on hot or active days. I included three flavors for variety.
