The Core 4 supplements for preconception include: a good quality prenatal, DHA (type of Omega), Probiotic, and 2000 IU vitamin D (may need higher dosing if labs determine a deficiency). Pick 1 prenatal multivitamin (Neurobilogix, Pure Encapsulations or Needed). Note that Needed does NOT contain Iron, which may need to be supplemented separately and has a higher dose of Vitamin D, which means some people may not need to take separate Vitamin D. Needed also has a plant based DHA which can be used as an alternative to the Prenatal DHA from Nordic Naturals.
