Semaglutide Support

3 more items in Semaglutide SupportSemaglutide can be started at the lowest dose of 0.25 mg once weekly that is injected into skin you pinch on your thigh or abdomen on the same day each week. It is very important that you stay well hydrated with a minimum of 64 ounces of water daily while taking this medicine to prevent dehydration, constipation, and kidney issues. The most common side effects of Semaglutide may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach (abdominal) pain, and constipation. These usually decrease over time. If you experience nausea, here are some things to try: Eat smaller meals (instead of eating 3 meals, you can try 4 smaller meals daily) Limit sugar intake Avoid fried, fatty & spicy foods such as fast food, and foods high in sugar tend to be the toughest for your body to digest and the most likely to cause nausea (especially during the initial phase of treatment) Limit alcohol and fizzy drink intake. Try eating bland low-fat foods, like crackers, toast, and rice. Eat foods that contain water, like soups and gelatin Believe it or not, sniffing isopropyl alcohol (aka rubbing alcohol found on alcohol prep pads or alcohol wipes), can quickly resolve nausea for many people. Avoid lying down after you eat. Go outdoors for fresh air. Don't eat if you are not hungry. Stop eating when you feel full. Understanding what it means to feel full Did you know that it can take 15 minutes or more for your brain to receive the message that you've eaten? That means that, if you eat less food, but consume it slower, you may still feel satisfied. Eating a lot of fruits and vegetables can also help you feel fuller. Another helpful tip is to eat off of smaller plates so that moderate portions don't seem too small. For constipation - Increase fiber and water and consider stool softeners as needed. These are some high quality supplements that can be helpful while on Semaglutide.
