    Dear Friends, Many of you have asked what I recommend that you send with your kids to college to support them when they're dealing with the basics of cold, flu, and stomach bugs. Here are my favorites and when to use them! Cold/Flu: Olive Leaf (antiviral) Vitamin C (antioxidant) Vitamin D (immune support, take preventatively if serum testing shows low) Probiotics (immune support via microbiome, used daily as prevention) NAC and/or InspirAction (antioxidant support, breaks up mucus in lungs) Zinc (Immune support- be sure to take with food) Nasal Spray with Xylitol (antimicrobial and helps maintain intake skin barrier, used daily as prevention) Gut Bug: Probiotic (immune and microbiome support) Biocidin (antimicrobial) GI Detox (binds toxins, take on empty stomach away from food, supplements, and medications) Please be aware that some supplements interact with medications and you'll want to check with your kid's doctor if that applies!
