This is the foundational nutritional supplements I recommend to all patients who are being exposed to mycotoxins from their environment, colonization, or from prior exposures. Several are in liposomal form for better absorption that doesn't depend on the GI tract, since mycotoxins often damage the digestive system leading to poor nutrient absorption. With this protocol, we are making sure your body has enough of all of the major vitamins, minerals, choline, and anti-inflammatory fats to run detoxification, protect cells from damage, produce enough energy, and keep the immune system balanced and functioning well amidst the stress of toxic threat.

Mycotoxin Detox

These are the items I generally recommend my patients to use for mycotoxin detox that fullscript carries. This is not my complete mycotoxin detox protocol, but Fullscript does not carry the other products. I always pair this with the mycotoxin nutritional foundations protocol, otherwise it won't work well, and/or the body will get too depleted from the binder.

All Night Melatonin Support

This is a lower dose melatonin protocol that promotes all night sleep and anti-oxidant support in the brain. You can use either the lozenge or the liposomal liquid for the fast-acting melatonin that should help you fall asleep faster. These will wear off in 4-5 hours for most people. The Multiphasic melatonin is designed to be sustained release and last all night. The combination helps you fall asleep and stay asleep. It's ok to increase the dose if a single dose of each is not enough to result in good sleep. Melatonin is very safe. Just do not use higher doses in children.

Argentyn 23 Colloial Silver Nasal Spray, Nutribiotic Grapefruit Seed Extract Nasal Spray, and Homemade Essential Oil Nasal Sprays are all great anti-fungal options for treatment sinus colonization with mold. Usually colloidal silver and grapefruit seed extract are not effective for long if used on their own as a single antimicrobial, since fungi can easily become resistant to a single antimicrobial. Most people find they need to combine several essential oils or silver with an essential oil or silver with grapefruit seed extract, or a combination of all 3 to remain effective for the duration needed to eradicate fungal colonization from the sinuses. Biofilm breaking is also important in eradicating fungus from the sinuses, and Xlear xylitol nasal spray can be a great help for that! Usually just one drop of 1-3 essential oils is strong enough in a 1 ounce nasal spray bottle for most people.
