If you have tested positive for one or more bacterial pathogens or parasites , OR suffer from gut symptoms such as heartburn, stomach pain, acid reflux, bloating, diarrhea, constipation, gut pain, etc......then this is the protocol for you. Examples of pathogenic bacteria are Campylobacter , C. Difficile , Enterohemorrhagic E. Coli or other bad version of E. Coli and Salmonella . H. Pylori can be particularly bad. Examples of parasites are Cryptosporidium , Entamoeba histolytica , Giardia , as well as Blastocystis Hominis . This is not an exhaustive list. A positive test for H. Pylori on a stool (GI-MAP), Blood or Breath Test can show H. Pylori involvement. You can retest 1 month after finishing your regimen you see if the pathogen(s) or parasite(s) has been eradicated. You can order a GI-MAP stool test to see if you have any of the above things in your gut. Go to https://pickleballdoc.net/collections/lab-tests to order the lab test. 6 month Protocol (follow all instructions in order for maximum protocol effectiveness): Month 1 - Start anti-inflammatory diet. The easiest is to do a Paleo-type diet at least 80% of the time. Shoot for that as a goal. Don't beat yourself up if you mess up. - What to eat : What to eat: Fresh vegetables, Fresh fruits (in moderation), Grass-fed, lean meats, Fresh fish and eggs, Healthy fats, like olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and avocados, Nuts and seeds - What not to eat : Grains, Beans, legumes, and lentils, Processed food, Dairy products, Most vegetable oils (corn oil, safflower oil, vegetable oil), Artificial sweeteners - There are a few grey areas regarding the Paleo diet. Some people avoid starchy veggies like sweet potatoes. Others stay away from grains but may include a little white rice. - If you are intolerant to many foods, you might need to do a Low FODMAP diet. Month 1 (Cont.) - Take Bio-HPF along with Ultimate Probiotic (if out of stock, take Strengtia ) - This formulation targets H. Pylori and heals stomach linings. Month 2 - start taking Oil of Oregano (along with Bio-HPF and Probiotic ) Month 3 - stop Bio-HPF and start taking Dysbiocide (along with Oil of Oregano and Probiotic ) Month 4 - stop Oil of Oregano and start taking FC-Cidal (along with Dysbiocide and Probiotic ) Month 5 - stop Dysbiocide and re-start Oil of Oregano (along with FC-Cidal and Probiotic ) Month 6 - stop FC-Cidal and just take Oil of Oregano (along with Probiotic ) Take GI-Detox if you experience Die-Off reactions to the bacteria and parasites dying and releasing too many toxins for your body to expel quickly. This binds to those and reduces the Die-Off. Wait 1 month after finishing above steps to retest to see what has been cleared. Ongoing use of the Probiotic is recommended. **This 2 month protocol is for gastritis and/or GERD patients that don't have H. Pylori as shown on lab tests. If you happen to have H. Pylori, this can help as well, but the main H. Pylori protocol might be better suited for you to help eradicate or lessen levels of H. Pylori. You can then come to this protocol if you still have reflux or gastritis. The most important part of this protocol is to eliminate things in your Diet that are causing reactions in your stomach and GI system. Step 1: Diet: - Start anti-inflammatory diet. The easiest is to do a Paleo-type diet at least 80% of the time. Shoot for that as a goal. Don't beat yourself up if you mess up. - What to eat : What to eat: Fresh vegetables, Fresh fruits (in moderation), Grass-fed, lean meats, Fresh fish and eggs, Healthy fats, like olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and avocados, Nuts and seeds - What not to eat : Avoid Nightshade vegetables (eggplant, tomatoes, potatoes, and sweet or spicy peppers), Spicy foods, Grains, Beans, legumes, and lentils, Processed food, Dairy products, Most vegetable oils (corn oil, safflower oil, vegetable oil), Artificial sweeteners - There are a few grey areas regarding the Paleo diet. Some people avoid starchy veggies like sweet potatoes. Others stay away from grains but may include a little white rice. Step 2: Take Ultimate Probiotic to help with healing the gut linings for 2 months (1 per day) Step 3: Take GI Revive to calm the gut lining and promote healing (for 2 months. Step 4: Take Acid-Ease to help reduce acid burning during meals or during the day. Step 5: You want to eventually heal the stomach and esophageal linings and allow for the stomach cells to do their job. 2-4 weeks down the road, you might need to add bitter herbs, such as Digestive Grape Bitters to stimulate gastric and pancreatic juices. You can also take Pancreatic Enzymes like Ultrazyme to help with breaking down foods . Lastly , Betaine HCL (search for any brand) can be used to help with digestive acid for protein breakdown. If you are on PPIs or other meds, please work with your prescribing doctor to wean off of those. **If Bio-HPF is out of stock, get Pylori-X in it's place. Also, if Manuka Honey is not in stock, you can add this later if needed. If you suspect H. Pylori either by symptoms or a lab test, follow the following steps for 2 months. Symptoms include heartburn, stomach pain, acid reflux, bloating, etc. A positive test for H. Pylori on a stool (GI-MAP), Blood or Breath Test can show H. Pylori involvement. You can retest 1 month after finishing your regimen you see if H. Pylori has been eradicated or reduced to a more healthy level. 1 month Protocol (follow all 3 steps for maximum protocol effectiveness): 1 - Start anti-inflammatory diet. 2 - Take Bio-HPF - This formulation targets H. Pylori and heals stomach linings - Take 3 caps x2 daily on empty stomach for 1 month. 3 - Take probiotics daily and add Manuka Honey (1 tsp x2 daily) on empty stomach. - Start with Saccharyomyces Boulardii , once daily for 1 months - Has been shown to help eradicate H. Pylori when taken with H. Pylori protocol - Other probiotics are ProbioMed 50 and ProbioSpore if you can afford. You can add those to the protocol. Or you can do the Ultimate Probiotic from Global Healing , which has all three types of probiotics in one formula. 4 - Take DGL Synergy Chewables when reflux or burning is present. You can take them before a meal or suck on them in between meals. 5 - Take Essential Enzymes™, Daily and take 2 with meals to help with digestion while healing **Possible Add-ons and considerations to this protocol: --Once you have eradicated or greatly lessened the H. Pylori, you want to then target any other symptoms of gastritis or GERD. You can do this by moving to the Gastritis/GERD protocol . --You can start taking Digestive Grape Bitters 2-3 weeks into this protocol to promote HCL secretion. This will be crucial to fully heal. You can also do Betaine HCL, starting slowly with 1 per meal, then move to 2-3 per meal as needed to add in more HCL into the newly healed stomach. You can find these in my Digestive Supports/Enzymes List . --If you experience Die-Off reactions to the H. Pylori dying, you can use GI-Detox by Biocidin Botanicals to help. --You might consider adding the Biofilm Phase 2 - Advanced if you're H. Pylori case is particularly tough (but start out light on that, as it can really break up biofilms). **If you have multiple other GI Issues (remaining constipation/diarrhea, bloating , etc.), please also look at Dr. Hartman Andersen's Herbal Antimicrobial Protocol . This can safely follow this H. Pylori protocol. This is because you might have other pathogens, parasites, or bacterial imbalances in the gut along with H. Pylori. Consultations and Lab Tests with Dr. Hartman can help to personalize your healing regimen with dietary/lifestyle and supplements. Please refer to the main SIBO protocol before looking to this list. This list of herbal formulations are to provide additional support for the those with SIBO or Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth. Use G.I. - Detox to help with any die-off reactions or Herxheimer reactions if you are taking the Main SIBO protocol, or an alternative SIBO protocol below. These are if you feel any of the following during treatment: ---Anxiety, Bloating (very common), Fatigue, Nausea, Diarrhea, Difficulty focusing, Flu-like symptoms, Muscle and joint pain If you have a particularly difficult case of SIBO and suspect Biofilms , which could be protecting your bacterial overgrowths from eradication, then add Biofilm Phase-2 Advanced about 2 weeks after starting the main SIBO protocol. Another option is the BiofilmX , which has enzymes that will break down biofilms. Sibo Rebuild helps to heal the small bowel lining and promotes better nutrient absorption. **Methane Dominant SIBO (constipation dominant) : If you have IMO or methane-dominant SIBO you will tend to have constipation . In this case, a high-dose Allicin formula is very beneficial. Take Allimed, Oil of Oregano and Neem. --** note, don't take Neem if you are female and trying to get pregnant , since it has contraceptive properties. **Hydrogen Dominant SIBO (diarrhea-dominant) : If you have more diarrhea , take Berberine , Neem , and Oil of Oregano - --** note, don't take Neem if you are female and trying to get pregnant , since it has contraceptive properties. --If you have bad diarrhea , you can also take IgG Protect , which has immunoglobulins to help bind to toxins in the gut, which can cause runny stools. **For Mixed SIBO (Hydrogen and Methane): Berberine, Allimed and Neem is indicated. Another version is Allimed and Oil of Oregano . If you don't know what type of SIBO you have, take a breath test to see what you have. Alternatively, use the General SIBO protocol instead and just use the GI Detox and Biofilm Phase 2 if you need extra support.

  • Bile Reflux Protocol

    Bile Reflux Protocol product 1
    Bile Reflux Protocol product 2
    Bile Reflux Protocol product 3
    Bile Reflux Protocol product 4

This protocol is great for Bile Reflux. There are three main steps to combatting this. #1 - neutralize the bile that is refluxing into the stomach/esophagus. The best way to do this is soaking it up with fiber-rich diets. If you have IBS, the fiber might be problematic, so reach out to me in that case. The I would recommend a Modified Mediterranean diet at least 80% of the time. Shoot for that as a goal. Don't beat yourself up if you mess up. - What to eat : What to eat: Fresh vegetables (Collared Greens, Leafy Greens, Carrots, Broccoli and Kale, steamed is probably better), Fresh fruits (Apples, Bananas, Red Plums, and Peaches), Grass-fed, lean meats, Fresh fish and eggs, Healthy fats, like olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and avocados, Nuts and seeds, beans/legumes/lentils, gluten-free oats. - What not to eat : Grains (try to stay away from Wheat), Processed food, Dairy products, Most vegetable oils (corn oil, safflower oil, vegetable oil), Artificial sweeteners WHY do these work? They contain soluble fiber and these substances will ‘BIND’ to the bile acid and flush it out of your system. #2 - Work on your stress response. Learn how to relax/rest. Get 7-9 hours of sleep. Exercise moderately, 3 times a week in Nature (if possible). Go on walks in nature often. Train yourself to release tension. Meditate and pray daily. Learn how to do deep breathing exercises. You can look up TRE exercises for some ideas on how to release tension and trauma built up in the body: http://www.youtube.com/user/davidberceli #3 - Take Probiotics ( Ultimate Probiotic ) and Pancreatic Enzymes with food ( Essential Enzymes) so you can help break down the food. Also take the GastroOne Gut Health Formula for 2 months. This is a powder that mixes with water. Add more Slippery Elm Bark/Powder to the mixture as well. Drink lots of extra water daily. You eventually want to increase your stomach acid production. One way to do that is to take bitter herbs and eventually you can take apple cider vinegar and/or eat cabbage or juice cabbage. When your gastritis has calmed down, you can take Betaine HCL .
